The title is directly translated as “Liberation Through Hearing in the Intermediate State,” it is a seminal text describing the state of the soul in the "Intermediate State", the state between the death and birth. This text contains details of what happens to a person and their soul during the process of death. The text provides guidance for meditation and how to lead a life for spiritual growth. Our book is a translation by Robert Thurman, a very popular text.
