In this session, Anil will be reading and discussing the "Netra Tantra." It is is a central scripture of non-dualist Kashmir Shaivism and the only Tantra devoted to Shiva’s Third Eye. Also known as Mṛtyuñjaya, it explores the transformative power of the Mahā Mṛtyuñjaya Mantra, subtle yogic energies, and practices for transcending fear, illness, and death. The text is clarified through Kṣemarāja’s 11th-century commentary and translated by Dr. Bettina “Śāradā” Baumer, a renowned scholar of the tradition.

This is a gentle, restful class with longer holds utilizing props such as blankets, bolsters and blocks to allow body to fully release tension and heal. Appropriate for all experience levels.
